- While preheating place the tots in oven

- Dish and tots from oven, place tots on another dish.
- Spread the seasoned meat evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the queso cheese sauce evenly over the meat, covering it completely.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the tots.
- Season the top of the tater tots with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the tater tot casserole hot as a main dish. You can garnish it with chopped green onions, diced tomatoes, or any other desired toppings.
