Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons 1 stick of unsalted butter
- 13 ounces of marshmallows for melting
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 7 cups of Rice Krispy treats approximately 200 grams
- 3 ounces of marshmallows to stir in at the end
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
Pepare the Pan:
- Line a baking pan (8×8 inches) with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy removal of the treats later.
Browning the Butter:
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Continue cooking the butter until it turns golden amber in color and develops brown specs at the bottom. This will create a nutty and caramel flavor.
Melt Marshmallows:
- Add the 13 ounces of marshmallows to the browned butter and stir until completely melted.
