Ingredients
  

Cornbread:

  • 2 Boxes Jiffy corn muffin mix
  • 1/2 cup Sugar or Splenda
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 2/3 cup Milk

Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup Green bell pepper chopped
  • 1/2 cup Yellow onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup Celery chopped
  • 6 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 Smoked turkey leg
  • 3 tablespoons Rubbed sage
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 can Cream of mushroom soup

Instructions
 

Prepare Cornbread:

  • Combine 2 boxes Jiffy corn muffin mix with 1/2 cup sugar or Splenda.
  • Add 2 eggs, 4 tablespoons melted butter, and 2/3 cup milk.
  • Mix well and bake according to package instructions.

Infuse Broth:

  • In a pot, combine 6 cups chicken broth and a smoked turkey leg.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer until the turkey is cooked through.
  • Add 1/2 cup each of chopped green bell pepper, yellow onion, and celery until tender.

Blend Cornbread and Broth:

  • Crumble the baked cornbread.
  • Add the sautéed veggies and shredded smoked turkey leg.
