Instructions
Prepare the Pan:
Grease and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the treats later.
Melt Butter and Marshmallows:
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the marshmallows (keeping aside 2 cups for later) and stir until completely melted.
Remove from Heat:
Once the marshmallows are fully melted, remove the pot from heat.
Add Salt and Cereals:
Stir in the salt and both the Rice Krispy and Fruity Pebble cereals. Mix until well combined.
Add Remaining Marshmallows:
Add the remaining 2 cups of marshmallows to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
Press into Pan:
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it down evenly using a buttered wrapper or spatula.
Cool and Cut:
Allow the treats to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into bars. To create neat bars, cut into 2” x 2.6” pieces.
